Over the years, hundreds of musicians from around the world used Busker to connect directly with the people who believed in them. That was always the point: cutting out the noise so support could go straight from listener to artist.
To every musician who trusted us with their work, and every listener who backed them: thank you. You showed up for artists you cared about, one purchase, one stream, one show at a time.
What stays
- The music and metadata stay in decentralized storage. They don't depend on us staying online to exist.
- Nothing you collected is gone. Your proof of support remains recorded onchain.
- The community that formed here doesn't need a platform to keep going.
We're stepping back from the platform, not from the mission. We'll keep showing up for musicians the old-fashioned way, in venues, in person, because right now, that might matter more than ever.
