What is the story behind the song?

"Fanus marks my debut into a new musical domain, expressing my feelings towards a city where I've never felt quite at home. Returning to Ankara after a long absence for Kreşendo's My City My Voice project, I confronted the disillusionment of growing up here. Constantly questioning my emotions, I found much of what I encountered disheartening. Yet, expressing these feelings reshaped my relationship with the city, helping me discern hate from love and feel more whole. Crafting Fanus felt like giving birth to something new within me. To create and listen to a piece where I composed and played every instrument was a childhood dream of mine so, I may be make peace with this city now."
